You are buying a dual seal accumulator piston SET for either a 700-R4, 4L60 or an early 4L60E transmission.
- This set includes two accumulator pistons – enough for one transmission
- This accumulator piston uses two seals, unlike the OE piston, to eliminate pin wear
- The stock pistons can accumulate pin wear in as little as 25k miles, this causes a hydraulic circuit cross leak and a loss of functionality
- In addition, we have seen the pinless versions cock in the bore and get stuck
- This one solves the problem by providing two seals and uses the pin to stabilize the piston in the bore

ALL 700R4s, 4L60’s and very few early 4L60E’s require two accumulator pistons with the large (0.310″) diameter pin
