This fits only 8.6″ 10 bolts only with 30 spline axles, 1999 up C/K trucks, 2000 up SUV’s
This is the Heavy Duty “708” version
Each carrier is totally disassembled, cleaned and then all the parts are inspected. Once disassembled, we check for the following:
- Broken cam gear
- Stripped governor teeth
- Worn out case holes
- Worn out clutch packs
- Spun bearing journals
- Worn or galled cross shaft and pitted side or spider gears
The carrier is carefully re-assembled, setting the internal end play back to within GM specifications.
The old side bearings are removed and a new set of side bearings are installed along with new bearing races.
It comes with a new GM cross shaft lock bolt, then its carefully packaged and sent back to you for installation.
