Description
BET Performance rebuilt this GM G80 Gov-Lock 11.5 Floater Differential. During the rebuild process, we totally disassemble and clean the unit and inspect all the parts. Once disassembled, we check for the following:
- Broken cam gear
- Stripped governor teeth
- Worn out case holes
- Worn out clutch packs
- Spun bearing journals
- Worn or galled cross shaft and pitted side or spider gears
The carrier is carefully re-assembled, setting the internal end play back to within GM specifications.
The old side bearings are removed and a new set of high quality made in USA Timken bearings are installed along with new bearing races (old picture shows SKF).
This unit will come to you ready to install.
