Rebuilt GM G80 28 spline 7 1/2-inch locking differential by BET Performance
Each carrier is totally disassembled, cleaned and then all the parts are inspected. Once disassembled, we check for the following:
- Broken cam gear
- Stripped governor teeth
- Worn out case holes
- Worn out clutch packs
- Spun bearing journals
- Worn or galled cross shaft and pitted side or spider gears
The carrier is carefully re-assembled, setting the internal end play back to within GM specifications.
We have removed the old side bearings and replaced them with a new set of Timken side bearings along with new bearing races installed.
It comes with a new GM cross shaft bolt, then its carefully packaged and shipped to you ready for installation.
