Description
Important: This is not a “G80” – it is an Eaton limited slip posi differential.
BET Performance rebuilds each Eaton 10.5 Limited Slip Posi Differential. During our rebuild process, we totally disassemble each carrier. We remove and replace the old side bearings, clean the whole unit and inspect all the parts.
Once disassembled, we check for the following:
- Worn out case holes
- Worn out clutch packs
- Spun bearing journals
- Worn or galled cross shaft and pitted side or spider gears
Worn out parts are replaced and then the Eaton 10.5 Limited Slip Posi Differential is carefully re-assembled, setting the internal end play back to within Eaton specifications.
A new set of side bearings are installed along with new bearing races.
