A Little Bit About Me

I’m not only the owner, I’m also a believer.

I’ve been into GM products for decades; it’s in my blood.

In high school, all my friends drove and we worked on “old” GM products from the 50’s and early 70’s. From tri five Chevys, Impalas, C10’s, GS Buicks, 442’s, SS454 Monte Carlos, Chevelles, Novas and of course Camaros. These cars were cheap, easy to work on, parts were readily available and they were reliable. After high school, I started out as a lube technician at a GM dealership in Watsonville, CA. Then worked my way up to become an ASE GM certified technician in 1988.

I decided I could do better, so I went back to college. Graduated from the University of Michigan for my undergraduate degree and Michigan State University for my graduate degree.

Worked for Hydra Matic in Ypsilanti, during my undergraduate studies. This gave me a wide understanding into the world of automatic transmissions. Specifically, I worked on the initial release of the now infamous 4L80E.

After graduation, I worked for Saginaw Division of General Motors in the axle / brake group. Then I transferred to GM’s Mid Size Car division and worked out of the GM Tech Center in Warren Michigan.
