This differential hex wrench adjusting tool is a tool for adjusting the ring gear backlash and carrier bearing preload on all Chrysler Dodge Mopar 7 ¼, 8 ¼ and 9 ¼ differentials.
- Small and compact, stores easily in a toolbox

- Attach it to any 6-point ¾” socket and feed it down the axle tube to turn the bearing adjusters
- An O-ring on the socket side prevents it from falling off while in the tube
- A flat on the large hex keeps the tool from going through the adjuster nut
- You may need to remove the axle bearing on some smaller 8.25 and all 7.25 differentials in order to use this tool
