This is a GM new CONVERTED gov-loc carrier. All the gov-loc parts have been removed, new preload plates and preload springs are installed (80 lb/in). The internal shimming is set to Eaton minimum standards to ensure long life and trouble-free operation. It will function like a posi should and it will take more street type abuse than a gov-loc.
