The tool replaces the crack prone plastic GM tool, it is very simple to use:

• Lubricate the installer
• Simply slide the protector over the center hub in either the forward or direct clutch drum
• Install the forward or direct clutch piston assembly (the aluminum cast piston is shown – it will work on both the stamped and cast versions)
• Remove the seal protector from the housing
