You are buying a tool that is used to help install the forward clutch piston on either a 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E or 4L65E transmission.
The tool is an improved version of the OEM tool, it is very simple to use:
- Lubricate the installer
- Simply slide the protector over the input housing
- Install the forward clutch piston assembly (the newer stamped / bonded piston is shown – it will work on both versions)
- Remove the seal protector from the housing
